From Bcn Fashion House down to the Born District
Walking distance 10 minutes
Cut down the neighborhood; last stop: sand&sea
Out of the front door, turn right and go down Carrer Bruc till the end (1 block). Once you are in “Carrer de Trafalgar”, go left and keep walking till “Carrer de Mendez Nuñez”(1 block) where you’ll turn right and keep walking for another block. Go left to the “Plaza de Sant Pere”, follow down the street on the right and cross “Carrer de Sant Pere Més Baix”. Go straight in the narrow street that you find in front of you till the nice “Plaça de Sant Agustin Vell” where you will turn right and stay on the left where you will see the “Convent de Sant Agustí” on your left. You can stop to have a look and then continue to walk along “Carrer de Tantarantana”. At the end you’ll cross “Carrer de la Princesa” and you’ll keep walking along “Carrer del Rec”. At the end of this street you’ll find the “Passeig del Born”.
Keep walking to La Playa de la Barceloneta
walking distance 15 minutes
Walk along the “Passeig del Born” and you’ll find on the right the “Basilica de Santa Maria del Mar”. You can visit the “Basilica” and when you come out by the side door cross the “Plaça del Fossar de les Moreres” and go in the narrow street called “Carrer de Malcunat”. At the end you’ll find “Pla de Palau”; keep walking, cross “Avenida del Marquez de L’Argentera” and continue through “Pla de Palau” till “Plaça de Pau Vila”. Keep on walking to “Passeig de Joan de Borbó” for 1 kilometer. Along your left hand side, you have the neighborhood of “La Barceloneta” but it will be at the end of this street that you will find the Beach…. Enjoy it !
